Great Boat-Great Price-Gotta Sell-To Many Kids-Wife Says We Must Get a  Pontoon

Click Here for directions to the boat. Click zoom out to see an expanded view of the map. It's 14.3 miles from Spartanburg Regional Medical Center

I bought this boat from a guy in Durham, NC in April of 2005.  He bought it from a Realestate investor that lived somewhere in the Outer Banks.  The story does that this realestate investor was needed back home (out of the United States) and had to sell the boat.  I bought the boat with a clean title & will supply the new owner with a clear title to both the boat as well as the motor.

Over the past year that I've owned this boat, I've taken it to Lake Bowen here in Spartanburg twice and took it on vacation to Murrells Inlet in July of last year ( I did take it by Lake Marion on the way back to flush the system of any salt water).  That's the only time I have used the boat. Now, I did go through 4 or 5 tanks of gas at Murrells Inlet and the boat ran great.  I have 3 kids (2 girls and a son) all 5 yeas old or less my my wife has decided that we need a more family friendly boat.  I love this boat but i think there is a pontoon in my future.

The Good and the "Not so Good"

The Good

This is a great dependable boat; it's a 2002 Ohio Marine  (Playtime) 19 foot 2 inch "Center Console" (model:190) & comes fitted with a 2002 90 horse power Mercury Saltwater 2-stroke motor (model: 90ELPTO). Additionally, this boat does come well equipped with a nice, sturdy T-Top with a royal blue canvas top ($2,032.50 add on).  There is a black bag (T-Bag) mounted at the top front of the aluminum T-Top frame for storage (life jackets, food etc., etc.)  Additionally, there is a nice VHF CB radio with a fold-down antenna securely mounted on top of the T-Top.

I encourage you to ask questions and come see the boat.  You can reach me on my cell at 864-621-6230 in Spartanburg or email me at mfulmer@espn1400am.com.

Additionally, there is a fixed mount fish finder included.  I have replaced much of the upholstry in the boat with new marine vinyl.  Also, I have replaced one hatch and the gasket and replaced just the gasket on another hatch.  I have stored the boat in dry storage since I've owned it.  The boat does come with a nicely fitted single axle galvanized trailer in good shape. There is a live well and two three storage compartments.  Additionally, the is an anchor smartly mounted on the front of the boat attached to plastic shrink wrap steel chain-then attached to rope that is stored out of site.  This is a solid boat and motor combo with no known machanical or structural issues.

The "Not so Good"

The biggest thing that I know of that's an issue on this boat is that the fuel gauge doesn't work.  It wasn't working when I bought it.  The boat will run 4-5 hours on a full tank and I think the fuel capicity is 25 gallons.  Also, there has been some modification done (previous owner) to the area below the cockpit where the battery is stored.  The area in question is a piece of hard white fitted plastic functioning as an access to the battery compartment.  I'm pretty sure it is original to the boat, I'm just not certian if it is attached to the center console the way it was intended.  The final issue that I know of on the boat is an area on the front and rear right ( I think, it may be the left side) where the fiberglass was repaired in the past.  When I bought the boat, someone had obviously ran it into a pier or dock and damaged the fiberglass on this side.  Before I bought it, I took it to a fiberglass specialist (IFG Fiberglass) in Durham and had them evaluate the damage.  As i suspected, the damage was only surface and I had them repair it. I doubt a new owner would even notice the repair, but I wanted to disclose everthing I know about the boat.

In my opinion, If I wanted a slow sale, this boat would bring somewhere between $15,000 and $16,000.00

Offered at only: $13,200.00 obo
